Z at rollerskating class!

Z and her friends go to rollerskating each week. They have a ton of fun. Here is a glimpse of it!

Halloween 2008

Halloween 2008 was a hit. Seanra was going to be Cinderella who was bit by a vampire (I thought that was seriously cool) but the vampire teeth hurt her mouth. She had fun anyway! We also had a wee Glinda on the scene. We taught her "Be gone, before I drop a house on you!"

Moms night out and Z is in ballet and tap.

When I returned home from Moms Night Out last week, this is what I returned to. Hilarious as Z would say.

Also, little Z is in ballet and tap class now. She is so cute in her leotards and in class I think my heart may explode. It hurts it is so cute!

Zava turns 3! Watch out!

Zava had a super fun 3rd birthday party! She invited many friends from our old and new neighborhood. Peepaw (grandpa/my dad) flew in for the event. He bought the girls a jumpy and all the kids really enjoyed it. The jumpy will be downstairs all winter long to ease cabin fever.
Thank you all for coming- we all had a very nice time, especially the birthday girl!

Grammaw Annie and Grampaw's special gift for Zava!

Grammaw Annie made Zava many outfits for the baby she sent. Lila (Zava named her) is Zava's favorite baby (and toy). She made the cute bedding for the special pram that Grampaw made. Lila gets pulled all over. I'll take more photos of all of Lila's lovely clothes soon. She loves Lila so much. Thank you Annie and Paw!

1st day of 2nd grade!

Today is Seanra's first day of 2nd grade! You can see us walking the trail to school, with the hockey rink and mountains in the background. She was very excited to go to school today.

She loves school. Her school is new this year and is busting with cool new technology. New computers in every classroom, interactive wireless clip boards that project onto the wipe boards. Super cool! The kids were very impressed. You can see her teacher sitting on the table with the clipboard, taking attendance by adding smiley faces to the children's names.

You can see Seanra sitting in front while her teacher is reading. Her desk is in front too. You can click on photos to make them bigger too.

Don't worry about not commenting here, sending us an email to comment is fine :o)

Photos of the girls'!

Close up of Shani, super cute girl. Zava swiped Seanra's baseball stuff! New organic rainbow matching pajamas from costco (our favorite store). Zava and her friend Tyken playing with the crazy daisy in the backyard.

Loft playroom, master bath, upstairs bath and Shani's Room

Hello! It is a rainy day here in Erie today. We don't mind it. We decided to do some more organizing and take some pictures. The first 2 photos are of the loft playroom. The loft is at the top of the stairs. It is a really nice room with lots of light. We have it set up as a restaurant/kitchen area complete with bar and table seating! In the corner is a dress up area with mirror, of course. Then Z's dollhouse on the other side. Next is the master bath. It has a large soaking tub, shower with nice windows, double sinks and to the right of the double sinks is the master walk in closet. I personally don't find closets that interesting, so no photo. I'll have master bedroom photos soon (I'm washing linens today!).Next is the upstairs bath. It also has a nice window over the bath, not too much to report here. Pretty straight forward. Up next is Shani's room. You see her princess bed that she loves. What you don't see on the right hand wall is her dollhouses and books. The room is bigger than it appears in the photo. She has more room behind her bed with a big closet. There is one more bedroom upstairs, but Z is sleeping in there. I'll update soon with the master, other bedroom, hall and view of the formal living room from the loft. We're still loving it here. School starts on Monday!!!!

1st floor photos are here!

Finally I was able to take some photos today of the new house. We have been really busy since moving in 4 weeks ago, which is a good thing. Swimming lessons, playgroups, playing with new neighbor friends and having housewarming gatherings with friends. This isn't formatting in the way I would like...so bare with me as I try to explain the photos. *The photo of the staircase is taken from our entry. To the right in the same photo is a formal living room. Up the stairs is a loft and we're using it as a playroom. Down the hallway upstairs is 2 bedrooms, a bath, the master suite and master bath. I'll take photos upstairs soon. You can see that the family room from here and the basement door (on the left).
*The next photo, you can see Seanra to the left and Zava acting goofy on Tony's chair. We have a nice gas fireplace that turns on with a switch (my kind of fireplace). Big windows with lots of light, but not direct sunlight. We have a family desk and computer area. The dining room is behind that. We could also use the formal living room as a formal dining room when/if we want.
*Next up is a photo taken from the family room, looking into the dining room and kitchen. All the way to the left are big sliding glass doors out to the flagstone patio and backyard. After the desk but before the pantry in the kitchen is a hallway that leads to the attached garage, 1/2 bath, closet and laundry room. While I find the laundry room exciting, I'll spare you the photo. The family room, dining room, kitchen is my favorite! I wanted this floor plan. It is a really nice space.
*Back to the family room with Zava in the picture, she is actually attacking Seanra. You can see our nice big windows. The view to the northeast is our neighbors homes and past their homes is the golf course, not sure which hole that is yet. To the northwest are beautiful mountain views. We have been enjoying some beautiful sunsets over the mountains from the patio and couch. You can also see our Rockband drum kit there.
*The last one is of the family and dining room. That is all for now. Zava is being a monkey and climbing all over me as I try to do this! Enjoy and come visit!

Mother's Day Tea Party 2007

This was a very sweet Tea Party. The sweetest next to the Mother's Day Tea Party at Montview. There wasn't a dry eye in the house. Once again Ms. Dire created a special day for the students and Mamas of her class. Please click the photo of Seanra holding the other side of the portrait she did of me (you know the one with the pipe cleaners for my hair). She wrote the best poem for me. I'm choked up just thinking about this day!

Seanra turns 6!

We celebrated at school and at home! Ms. Dire, Seanra's wonderful, awesome kindergarten teacher helped Seanra walk with the earth 6 times around the months and sun. Then she sprinkled glitter on everyone for good luck. It was really sweet. Uncle Anth was in for the festivities. A fun time was had by all!

The Elephants!

The girls loved these cute elephants outside of Uncle Anth's house. When we visited 6 months later and they weren't there, Zava was realllllllly sad about them being gone.
